SNIM is the major mining company in Mauritania and is the second employer after the state with more than 6000 employees. It is a well-known actor within the global iron ore trading circles for the last fifty years.<\/div>

Its yearly production capacity has reached 13 Mtpa and it was ranked as the 15th in the 2017 world iron ore exporters list.<\/div>

SNIM started a development programme to increase its production significantly as part of its Growth Strategy.<\/div>

For many years, SNIM policy was oriented towards the creation of subsidiary companies for activities not directly related to iron ore mining.<\/div>

Hadeed is an integrated iron and steel company with an annual producing capacity of 5.8 million tons of diversified long and flat steel.
